A man named Randy in Canada liked to hunt for trees. He looked for big trees and old trees in Canada. He made maps to show where these trees were. He did not want to cut them down. Actually he wanted people to take care of them.
Ancient trees are today rare（稀少的）everywhere in the world. On Vancouver Island in Canada, there are so many big trees. The biggest trees are about 800 years old. Li Shizhen was one of the most famous doctors in Chinese history, He was born in Hubei in 1518.
Both of Li Shizhen's father and grandfather were doctors. Li Shizhen's grandfather was a country doctor who traveled in the countryside with a bag of herbs (药草） and medicine and cured (治愈） people. His father was a doctor who wrote several books.
