The electricity station in our community happened to be repaired last Saturday, so the workers cut off our electricity that day. We all thought that it must be a very （1）b______ day. Without electricity, we could do nothing. But it was just the other way around. That day really gave us a lesson. It offered me an opportunity to do the housework myself, to have a good time with my families and friends, and let us experience a healthier lifestyle.
  After getting up in the morning, we started doing housework ourselves rather than relying on the electrical machines like the vacuum cleaner. It was a little （2）h______ for me to do that job because I didn't know how to make the dust disappear with the little rag（碎布）. However, mom （3）t______me and after I got it, I felt very proud and satisfied.
  Second, I went shopping with two of my friends instead of shopping directly on the （4）I______. It was very fantastic. We tried on different kinds of clothes in the shopping mall, enjoyed the whole process and felt very excited. When I returned home, mom had prepared a rich dinner and we enjoyed it under the candlelight. It was really warm and romantic.
  After dinner, we went for a walk. We chatted with our （5）n______ in the street. It made us relaxed. What's more, we needn't sleep so （6）l______ as before. We usually slept at about 11 o'clock p.m. and always felt tired the following day, but we went to bed at 9 o'clock p.m. that night and felt very energetic the second day.
  When the electricity （7）r______， we were not prepared to watch TV all day or play computer games all night. We just take that Saturday as a gift, and have found the way from it to lead a better life.
