如图,已知线段AB=10cmAB=10cm,点CC是线段ABAB上一点,若MM是ACAC的中点,AM=2cmAM=2cm,求线段BCBC的长.

∵M\because M是ACAC的中点，AM=2cmAM=2cm，
∴AM=CM=2cm\therefore AM=CM=2cm
∴AC=AM+CM=2+2=4(cm)\therefore AC=AM+CM=2+2=4\left(cm\right)，
又∵AB=10cm\because AB=10cm，
∴BC=AB−AC=10−4=6(cm)\therefore BC=AB-AC=10-4=6\left(cm\right)，

解析

∵M\because M是ACAC的中点，AM=2cmAM=2cm，
∴AM=CM=2cm\therefore AM=CM=2cm
