The 36-year-old man is a college teacher.He showed an interest in coral reefs during his diving trips in Malaysia.There he saw a lively underwater world with colorful coral reefs.Those trips were hard to forget even after he returned home."In the beginning,I knew nothing about coral reefs before taking this job,but once you start something,you must keep doing your task for results,"he said.
Coral reefs are often called the"rain forests of the sea".Coral reefs cover only about 0.2 percent of the ocean area but protect almost 30 percent of sea creatures（生物）.And they can protect sandstones near the sea.Since the 1950s,however,coral reefs have been in great danger.
