Zhu Yanjun is 52 years old.Coming from a small village in Gansu,he became a worker after finishing middle school in 1992.
Zhu has only a middle school education.However,he surprised everyone by winning second place on CCTV\’s yearly Chinese poetry competition（诗词大赛）.He has been interested in poetry since he was a child.
